Many electronic items contain toxic and hazardous waste, and their safe disposal helps minimize environmental pollution. Proper disposal also protects human health.

Amkette complies with the Ministry of Environment and Forests' “E-waste (Management) Rules, 2016” and strictly follows the Central Pollution Control Board's guidelines.

Our Commitment

As an environmentally responsible organization, Amkette has partnered with Pro Connect, a leading Producer Responsibility Organisation (P.R.O.), to enable proper collection, dismantling, and recycling of end-of-life products. With support from DTDC Express, we ensure widespread access to E-waste Drop-Off and Collection Centers across major cities in India.

E-Waste Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s

• Refer to the product catalog for end-of-life equipment handling instructions.
• Dispose of products responsibly for proper recycling.
• Hand over used electronics to authorized collection centers, dismantlers, or recyclers.
• Store non-functional electronics separately to avoid damage.
• Drop off products, batteries, or accessories at the nearest authorized center.

Don’ts

• Do not open the product yourself. Always consult authorized personnel.
• Do not sell used electronics to unauthorized agencies or scrap dealers.
• Avoid storing spare parts in exposed or unsafe areas.
• Never dispose of electronics with household waste.
