Xbox vs PlayStation Controller Layout

Gamepads today come in a few different layout styles — the most common being Xbox-style and PlayStation-style. While the functionality is nearly identical, the naming of buttons, joystick placement, and hand feel varies between the two. Here's a quick guide to understand the differences.

Joystick Placement
